GEORGE TOWN: A 24-year-old university student has been detained for questioning after threatening to bomb Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s helicopter in a Facebook posting. George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng said the Universiti Sains Malaysia student was brought in to the district police headquarters in Patani Road for questioning at about 1.30pm yesterday. In the latest status update on his Facebook profile, it was written “najib is coming to our campus ... let’s bomb his helicopter...” source

So now Najib is warning everyone on internet not to talk bad of him because you are responsible for everything you post and share on internet, even if it's meant to be joke or sarcasm (or known facts that you can't prove). Calling him corrupted, killer, liar, najis or whatever nick name would probably be an invitation for a defamation lawsuit. Watch out millions of you out there!

Nevertheless, the news left me stunned for a few seconds.... What kind of bomber would announce his plan to the world in such a impromptu manner? Based on the grammar he used, the style of writing, and his background info the police should know that the fella cannot be a threat to Najib's life, don't they study profiling in police academy? Even a ordinary people like me I have watched enough CSI, CIA, Criminal Mind, FBI, X-File, Lie to Me, and a more American series to know a bit of profiling?

The End of 2011

Finally year 2011 has come to an end and as usual people tend to revising the past 1 year to see how many plans they made for the year have actually worked out.

In nut shell, I have actually accomplished my resolutions for the year.

1. Finally I know how to swim, but only breaststroke so I'll be learning freestyle in the upcoming year. Self-learning is self-helping.

2. I graduated with a second upper class degree. Although it's not first class honours but judging by increasing a 2.91 CGPA by 0.12 points in the last semester I believe I did not too bad.

3. I got a job offer and secured a place in FSTEP just with one interview, guess I'm employable.

4. I got a job in money broking firm, which symbolizes the first step of getting myself to become a true banker. Personal banker ain't banker, please.

5. I realized how inadequate am I but still working on improving myself.

Guess 2011 is a memorable and fruitful year after all. Thanks to all the people who love me, and people that believe in me. Also thanks to people who dislike me and backstabbers, you have taught me valuable lessons in life.

Whether you are interested in politic, you should be concerned about BERSIH. It's a movement to demand for cleaner election processes and procedures. The objectives are as following:

1. Clean the electoral roll, no more buy-election
2. Reform postal ballot, all must be allowed to vote by postal ballot if cannot physically present in Malaysia
3. Use of indelible ink, no more fraud vote
4. Minimum 21 days campaign period, allow candidates to convey message clearly and throughoutly
5. Free and fair access to media, no more Utusan's bias

The government is obviously adopting a double standards because no action is taken against UMNO youths whom gathered in front of PKR Penang office. Extremists who proclaime themselves as PATRIOT also threaten to burn down PKR headquarter if BERSIH 2.0 rally goes on. Silat guru, Omar Din aka Mahaguru also threatens to wage war against BERSIH activists. Many BERSIH supporters have been arrested for wearing the official t-shirt as PDRM claims it is illegal. There are many more extremists defaming the rally by calling it KOTOR or dirty in Malay, say that it is a demonstration to save Anwar Ibrahim from sodomy charge.

If you are planning to join the rally please be alert as I expect there might be people whom hired to create chaos hiding in BERSIH peaceful crowd. These people are paid to give BERSIH 2.0 a bad name so ban against the rally and any future peaceful demonstration can be justified.

How much does this Cuti-cuti 1Malaysia facebook page cost actually? Let's listen to what Preetham Venkky has to say. Preetham Venkky is the business head at KRDS India, one of the Facebook authorized app development firms in Asia.

While anything is possible, spending US $590,000 on six Facebook apps doesn’t make much campaign sense. So for an app like Citrawana (one of the six) to costs close to US $100,000, this is impossible since the app is pretty straight to the point. The money paid is seriously unjustified. It should cost anywhere between $ 12,000 – $ 15,000 inclusive of two iPads being given away as prizes. These costs would include (to quote directly) – “creative works, concepts and ideas, design, flash programming and coding, testing and debugging, uploading and launching of application, system server development and maintenance, and development of database from the contest”.
Based on the minister’s statement, what’s important to note is that the cost does NOT include campaign management, monitoring, Facebook ads, or fan recruitment through Facebook and Google. In most cases, the costs can escalate quite rapidly if a key deliverable is fan count. If there’s a target to acquire one million US fans for the page (this could be a realistic expectation since the client is a Tourism client) where the CPC is US $1.10 (on average) then it might be a good deal. If I were to make a guess, I think it would make sense if $90,000 includes the development of six apps with the remaining money spent on media (buying ads) to propagate and rapidly increase engagement.
What’s shocked me is something different altogether. The agency hasn’t used the basic mechanics involved in Facebook fans acquisition. For instance, a user can play the game without ‘liking’ the page. There’s a micro-leaderboard but no global leaderboard. How would the user be motivated if he doesn’t know where he stands globally? And honestly, it’s extremely difficult to get 50,000 points which will only encourage the users to give up soon.

Also, the developer hasn’t used any ‘virality’ at all in the app. For instance it doesn’t prompt the user to share their score as an update, it doesn’t have an option to ‘challenge’ and invite your friends to join the game etc. There’s a lot that could’ve been done with the app, but it looks like the development agency has missed out on the core features to make the app go viral and hence increase fans and awareness.

I had not been updating for quite some time. First, I had my final exam, then I went on a vacation in Pulau Langkawi with my fellow classmates. For those who doesn't understand Mandarin, he was basically asserting that premarital sex, adultery, gay sex are sinful, should be condemned and labelled as gou nan nv or jian fu yin fu.

Gou nan nv, could be translated directly into dog man and woman, which is a very insulting term to be used in Mandarin. While jian fu yin fu, carries the meaning of adulterers which is a very negative term.

Is it appropriate to assert such discriminative values to students? This is not sex education, and certainly is not a good way to nourish a good moral value.

How to uphold UTAR image?

Many UTAR students have read and interested people are still coming in to read my previous post "Read this before you enroll to UTAR". I got many feedbacks, some agree and like my post, some got pissed off and dislike it, perhaps they also despise me and label me as complainer or traitor of UTAR. I do not like been labelled that way to be frank.

But I will not say: "fuck off if you don't like what I write." It is a ignorant and irresponsible statement to make.

I want to make my point clear, I was not trying to ruin UTAR image, I was merely describing what I have seen and experienced in the past 4 years. I have my own ways to uphold the school's image.

I keep quite when speakers from outside UTAR are conducting their presentation, I wear shoes to job interview session, I drive carefully, I definitely won't hit and run, I don't leave dishes on cafeteria table, I don't vandalize UTAR properties, I don't steal LCD screen from computer lab, I don't have hair like super saiyan

These are some small but crucial things and signs that people scrutinize and evaluate. Talking but not doing doesn't contribute a thing.

My blogging schedule is messed up by all these nonsenses (usually I publish two posts per week, sometime longer, but these two days I published three posts).

Datuk T unmasked themselves, so from now on we should call them Datuks T, with an "s" behind the "Datuk". The three musketeers (I prefer to call them Tiga Batang) claimed they made public the sex video of Anwar, because they think rakyat should see their leaders' true colors so not to be cheated by their masks. They just want to uphold justice (wow! They should call themselves Justice League instead).

They also claims the video only came into their possession two week ago. One of the Tiga Batang admits that he is in the video, at the beginning of the video.

I'm confused. Let's say Anwar is really the person in the sex video, then is he the victim or the villain? Are we supposed to hate him and condemn him now? What Tiga Batang want us to do? What they want the police to do? Find out who is the secret photographer or the voyeur and arrest him? Or they want Anwar to be arrested for adultery or had sex with prostitute? Read this before you enroll to UTAR

Recently I read a blog post, written by a UTAR student, claims he doesn't regret choosing UTAR for his tertiary education. So I thought as an UTAR student I should write about my UTAR experiences too. So people who are planning to enroll to UTAR at the upcoming May intake can read and think twice.

1. Does UTAR provide good education?
No. UTAR doesn't educate you. UTAR trains you. UTAR provides you with opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge that are fundamental (but important) to future employment or further education. Education and training are two different things.

The course structure includes many irrelevant subjects (sometimes I think the management just put it in for the sake of creating jobs for more lecturers), and leaves out many crucial subjects (may be UTAR doesn't not have the resources needed to include the subjects).

But one thing for sure, UTAR puts in a lot of efforts mimicking the real world (I guess) - you'll have very little time to do very much works (if you do all your works inclusive of preparing for tutorials). Therefore you need to keep up very good discipline and good time management.

2. Does UTAR have good lecturers?
Yes, it depends on your definition of "good". If a good lecturer is those who give "tips" for midterm and final exam, then you'll have plenty of good lecturers.

If you define "good" as having a lecturer who can inspire you, discuss with you, stimulate your growth, perhaps you're asking too much. However, there are a few lecturers that I really admire in UTAR.

The problem with UTAR is that it doesn't have enough brain-power and doesn't not allocate the brain-power evenly. Many lecturers (including those experienced ones) are reluctant to be transferred to Kampar branch, and many lecturers in Kampar are new and lack of skill and experience in lecturing. Mind you I'm not saying Kampar's lecturers do not have enough knowledge, I emphasize on skill and experience of conducting lecture.

3. Does UTAR have good facilities?
The most important facility you'll need is a good library. A good library must possesses books and journals that you'll need for your academy, and must have other books that you can read to gain knowledge beyond your text books. UTAR library is not adequate, therefore you'll find it difficult to get journals and information you need for your assignments and final year project (aka thesis). Books are scattered among branches, so you might not be able to get the book you want immediately if it is not in that particular library. Fortunately, librarians are generally helpful.

Gymnasium and sport complex are pay per entry and rent on hourly basis respectively. Cafeterias don't provide good or healthy food, prices are no cheaper than outside the campus (or more expensive).

4. What are UTAR students like?
If unfair to judge UTAR base on students' attitudes and behaviors. But if you are to come to UTAR I think you should be acknowledged.

Most of the students like to complain for no reason, some complain for they believe it's an initiative to trigger improvement of UTAR, some complain about students who complain. The first type of students basically complain and put all the blames on UTAR for everything goes wrong in their lives. The second type is often mistaken as the first type, typical initiative paradox. The last type thinks they are protecting the reputation of the university, but they contribute very little in actuality.

It's not a culture here to raise doubts and questions in classroom. It's not a culture here to answer questions either. Students here prefer to copy answer than find out the way to get answer. Spoon-feeding is the culture here, critical thinking is not encouraged.

90% of students are Chinese, mostly converse in Mandarin and other dialects. If one of your goals is to brush up your English, you should mix around with English-speaking friends, otherwise you might not be able to achieve that goal. Many told me they can't speak well so they don't speak to avoid embarrassment, I told them it's better to be embarrassed now than later when you out to the society.

5. Why should you choose UTAR?
Its fee is cheaper relative to other private colleges like Taylor, Inti, Monash, and etc. UTAR's graduates have high employment rate (but low salary). UTAR has stricter enrollment requirements. UTAR exams are more difficult as compared to other colleges (according to a friend of mine who been to UTAR and now in MMU). You graduate with a degree, not diploma (if you manage to graduate).

6. Why shouldn't you choose UTAR
UTAR management is the one thing disappointing me the most. Rigidity is in their veins even though they teach us about empowerment and flexibility. Students points of view and opinions are seldom taken into management's account of consideration prior making any decision that could affect the students.

UTAR management has a lot of rooms for improvement.

7. Do I regret coming to UTAR?
No. Why should I or what is the point to regret?

I complained a lot, but I was not complaining about UTAR as it is an object that has no thinking and emotion. Its personality derived from its management or the brain. It's the management people are complaining, not the object itself.

A good university must has three essential components - management, academic personnel, students. Management's job is to stimulate facilitate the growth of the other two components. The academic personnel's job is to facilitate students and help management to achieve its academic goals. While students have to improve in term of academic performance and other aspects.

Why should we compromise when things could and should be improved?

Two members of parliament (MP) from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), namely Zuraida Kamarudin (MP of Ampang) and Johari Abdul (MP of Sungai Pertani) had called for a media conference to address their concern over the issue.

Right after Berita Harian's insensitive cartoon poking fun at recent disasters hit Japan, our First Lady, wife of Prime Minister Najib Razak, Rosmah Mansor made another idiotic statement in a recent interview.

Bad hair cut. I wonder where she got it.

I'll translate what she had said to English.

"In my opinion, this (causality) serves as a warning to other countries, before doing anything, or any form of development, they should study the environment and relate to climate change and green technology, including our own country."

Sorry for the poor translation, but I assure you it is accurate. By saying this, she implied the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan were consequences of their lack of concern towards the environment.

It's commonly known that Japan is located on the Pacific ring of fire, that's why it has constantly experienced earthquake in the past and will face the similar problem in future. It is not because their own doing that causes the earthquake or tsunami, and the fact is, Japan is one of the most green-tech advanced countries in the world; even if Japan's not practicing enough environment friendly technology, I do not think Malaysia is in the position to criticize (First Lady represents Malaysia to certain extent).

Her statement shows that she is in state of ignorance and possesses poor geographical knowledge. Even though she is trying hard to produce some brilliant sounding statements, but she seriously fucked up this time.

Most of you might have already heard of the success of Egyptian's revolution cracking down the Mubarak's 30-years dictatorship, but did you know what triggered the massive public outcry?

The spark of reformation fire was first lit up in Tunisia, after WikiLeaks, a international whistler-blower site, disclosed information about the exploitation of Tunisian people by the controlling regime. Tunisia's revolution successfully defeated the regime of its former dictator, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. The success story then spread like wild fire and inspired Egyptian to go up to street, to demand for democracy (Egypt's revolution).

Now the idea and desire for reformation has influenced Libya's people to act as well. The international crude oil price has gone up dramatically since demonstration erupted, the hike is anticipated to continue as Libya is one of the largest oil production countries and most of its supplies go to Europe. Libyan protestants have been oppressed with violence and the nation is currently on chaos. The fate of Libyan is very uncertain. May God bless Libyan.

Protests and demonstrations are going on in other mid-east countries as well but at a smaller scale, the question is, will the trend continue? If yes, what is the magnitude of the revolution? Nevertheless, this serves as a warning to all governments.

Last week my place had been broken in. I have lost my laptop, valuables, and a lot of important information and data.

So my housemates reported to police immediately after he returned home from campus and found out the burglary.

Officers on duty were very helpful and easy to talk to. They took about 1 hour to record a statement about 5-lines long.

Afterward, they went to our place to investigate further. They told us how the burglar broke in and how dangerous is the area we stayed at. According to them, the particular area is burglary hot-spot, many cases have been reported.

I would like to say thank you to all these police officers for being so informative after my house had been broken in. I would appreciate that even more if it's before the burglary and I would thank they a million times if they are willing to patrol more frequently.

Anyway, I wouldn't be able to update so often until I get myself a new laptop.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2011

Stuck in Cairo, with NO help from the M'sian govt
OK, so my bro and his wife and 3 kids went to Cairo last week for a long-awaited holiday. They had a great time the first few days. Then, on Friday 28th Jan, the whole city 'blew' up. Their Egyptian guide (a Coptic Christian), and the Egyptian hotel staff were incredibly helpful to all of them. Their guide, who had taken them out sight-seeing that morning, KNEW that the situation was going to blow up after the Friday noon prayers, so he made sure he had them back at the hotel by then. The staff at the hotel kept the hotel doors locked, and made sure all their guests were safe.

THEN the "fun" started. No internet (since the Egyptian govt took the whole country off the internet), so my bro tried to call the embassy to find out what was happening - three days of calling, and the phone never got picked up! Very helpful... NOT!!! When they eventually managed to get through on Monday, they asked what the situation at the airport was like, as they were supposed to fly out on Monday night, at 00:15 hours (ie, early Tuesday 1st Feb morning). So, guess what the so-called situation room tells them? "Don't know. When you get to the airport and find out the situation, you call us."... !!!! I mean..... WHAT? What can anyone say to such idiocy? So, as you can see, the situation room had ZERO handle on the situation!

Their wonderful EGYPTIAN guide made sure he picked them up early on Monday and took them to the airport - it should have been just a 1 hour journey, but took far longer than that due to the riots and the craziness! They get to the airport and the guide stays with them, to help them try and get checked into their flights, etc. And the airport was an absolute mad-house. ALL Egypt Air flights were cancelled - and, unfortunately, it meant that their M'sian airlines flight, code share with Egypt Air, was also cancelled!! My bro kept trying to call the Embassy, and the phone was either NEVER picked up, or was engaged. OK, so, forget any possible help from that side. Totally, absolutely, USELESS!! Mind you, all other airlines, apart from EgyptAir, were still flying though with major re-scheduling, and the governments of other countries (US, UK, India, China, Japan, NZ, the Arab countries, EVEN CROATIA) were sending in planes to get their people out of Cairo. But, as of yesterday, no news from our "action-oriented, on the ball" govt about sending in planes to get OUR citizens out of the country! And TODAY they start sending planes? TODAY? What the hell took them so long? Question about LANDING RIGHTS? Hello, how come the OTHER countries did not have that problem? Only Malaysia?????

Embassy personnel from other countries, with jackets emblazoned with their country names, were going round and round the airport, trying to find their citizens... they even approached my bro and his family to see if they needed help..... and where were the so-called "People First, Performance Now" M'sian embassy personnel???? NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!! Not hide, nor hair.

Malaysian students, including lone female students, with no money, no food, no tickets, no nothing, stuck in the airport, not knowing what to do!! At least my bro and his family had the means (and the credit card availability) to get themselves on another flight (Emirates, to Dubai) out of Egypt late on Monday night/Tuesday morning... but what about those who had nothing? Where were our "caring" Embassy personnel? NOWHERE IN SIGHT! Not hide, not hair.

Oh, side story... when my bro called to tell me that their flight out of Cairo was cancelled, I called MAS here in KL, and they tell me the flight is leaving as scheduled!! Obviously news of the rioting, and the Egypt Air flight cancellation did not seep into MAS consciousness!! And they obviously never watched the news! When I told them that my brother and his family are IN CAIRO, and have been TOLD FIRST HAND that the flight is cancelled, the staff here are still insisting that the flight is leaving as scheduled. I mean, don't get me wrong - I absolutely LOVE MAS flight crew - but, MAN, their ground staff and procedures leave a LOT to be desired!

I am saddened, and horribly embarrassed, by the shoddy show put up by our govt and our embassy personnel in Cairo. I am so ashamed at this time to be called a Malaysian. I am also deeply grateful to the people in EGYPT, the EGYPTIANS, who helped my brother and his family so much, and deeply thankful that they made it home safe on Wednesday morning after 2 days stuck in Cairo airport and Dubai airport. My prayers go to all those who went through so much fear and shock, with no help from our govt, in Cairo, and I just hope and pray that they will ALL get home safe, with or without govt help.

When do you feel most Malaysian?

I answered: When someone ask me to go 'back' China.

Ask me if I'm Malaysian, I'll say yes. Ask me if I'm proud to be Malaysia, I'll say yes but with slightly lower volume.

No matter they say, the fact that I'm Malaysian will not be affected.

The fact is I don't give a fuck, if my loyalty toward the country and kings is being doubted or whether I'm patriotic enough by their standards.

To be or not to be racist?

Racism is always being played by politicians to gain popularities in Malaysia. The most commonly adopted way to measure popularity is by vote gained in election. The more popular you are (or the richer) the more votes u can get in an election, buy-election is not a secret.

But occasionally, some people raise racist issues for no particular reason. They just cannot stand seeing people nowadays are getting more educated and tired of all racist shits, like this person. He said Malaysia is Tanah MELAYU, so Chinese and Indian should accept Malay's sovereignty. Then paradoxically he said people from all races should identify themselves as Malaysian first race later. He said if the communities continue to identify themselves according to the country of origin then it is an admission that they are immigrants in the country.

My mother side's grandparents, my father's brother and sister were from China, I once asked them whether they want to 'go back' to China. Expectedly, they said 'No', their home is here, in Malaysia. New generation of Chinese and Indian understand we are Malaysians, we never see ourselves as China's Chinese or India's Indian. We don't feel particularly proud for the raises of China and India, but we concern about the fall of this country's democracy and corruption.

Tanah MELAYU was renamed as Malaysia for some reasons, (1) Borneo joined Tanah Melayu, (2) its people are all Malaysians, they may not be all Melayu.

He also said “When we say 1 Malaysia, people will think equality among all races. For the Malays, equality means abolishing vernacular schools. But for the Chinese and Indians, 1 Malaysia means to abolish the rights of the Malay people,” I totally agree on this, in my opinion, all races should be placed under a school that teaches Chinese and Tamil to all, and uses English as medium of instruction.

Prosperity and Chinese New Year 2011

The economic wound caused by US sub-prime crisis might have started to recover but in Malaysia consumers are still not feeling safe to spend more for this upcoming Chinese New Year 2011. For some reasons Chinese's spending behaviors for this festive season are somewhat reflective to the country economic condition.

FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI has gone down for more than 30 points in 2 weeks (prior Chinese New Year) and the pointer is expected to go down further unless cash-rich investors decide to buy in some bluechips at low price. I read a newspaper article saying stocks listed i Bursa Malaysia offer lower rate of return than debts, theoretically debt is less risky than stock and risky investment should promise higher return. However, I'm not able to verify the statement so we shall see.

In a nut shell, Chinese have not been spending the way they used to. Textile and apparel industry has been complaining about the raising cost of production and low demand, result in lower profits or even loses.

Afraid of intelligence property infringement, businesses also reluctant to play CNY music and further reduces the so-called 'CNY atmosphere'.

Nevertheless, I wish all readers and haters of this blog Happy Chinese New Year and a fruitful year ahead.

RM3000 is benchmark for high-income

A minister named Mustapa Mohamed said RM3000 will be used as benchmark for high-income jobs. He also said its a reasonable income for working class in Klang Valley and its probably considered as lucrative for someone from places like east coast and east Malaysia.

I immediately recalled what my mum told me (complained to me actually). She said:"You must study harder you know? Study hard so you can get good pay in future. Everything is about money now. Do you want your wife and children to die of hunger? Your father and I work so hard only earn about RM5000 per month which is barely enough to offset all the expenses and house loan."

My family own a Proton car and my parents only use the car to travel to work place. My mum is a typical housewife so she cooks everyday. My family barely go for shopping (not even window shopping). We do not have Astro at home. Even though we have air-conditioner but we seldom use it. My parents have 3 children who are currently studying. My brothers' get RM5 each as their daily pocket money. My mother also said:"Everything becomes so expensive, petrol increased everything else follows. Last time when I was small 5cents can buy a bowl of noodle already."

Housewives are actually good economists. They are observant and sensitive to price changes in market. Don't believe you can ask your mum:"How much is 1kg of sugar nowadays?" or go shopping for grocery with your mum, she will make sure that your value of money is maximized. Even though they might not know the term inflation but they certainly can feel it and try their best to preserve their money's value. But even they think RM5000 is barely enough to survive. How about RM3000? How about the inflation? Is RM3000 worths more than RM1000 of 20 years ago?

I am completely aware of the statement made by Mustapa - You won’t be rich (with RM3,000) but you can survive.And RM3000 is only an initial benchmark, which will be improvised and adjusted to a higher level. I have no intention to take his words out of the context to create negative perception towards him or ETP or the RM3000 benchmark. I merely wanted to point out the pitfalls of this benchmark, where inflation is not being emphasized.

I noticed some people like to comment on things that they are not certain or don't understand. They are not illiterate, in my humble opinion, they just don't bother to read.

For example, Namewee (黄明志) updated his facebook's fan page and he said:

1M Malaysians Reject 100-storey Mega Tower page shared an interesting piece of info quoted from The Sun revealing monthly salaries of Malaysia's politicians.

1. prime minister - RM22,826.65,
2. deputy prime minister - RM18,168.15
3. cabinet ministers are paid RM14,907.20.
4. political secretary effective Jan 1, 2004 is RM5,709.99.

People responded differently towards the information. Many think it's a fair price while a lot have doubts that how do these people afford multi-billionaires' luxurious lives with that kind of pays. Some comments caught my eye and I think they deserve some forms of recognition and replies.

The Season of the Witch is Here

What scares me the most about witches? Not their flying bloom, not their dark magics that can turn man into frog, and definitely not the mirror on the wall and the poisoned apple. I actually find it kinna cool to fly in the sky with a bloom, I mean how environmental friendly is that? Turn man into a frog is not scary at all ok? Turn man into toilet bowl inside male rest room is scary. Mirror on the wall? I find it works better than Google, you get the most accurate result for question you ask. Apple? Just don't eat the apple, eat orange instead (I've never heard of poisoned orange before).

What really terrifying is their mastery of disguise. Look at the hot and attractive women below, I suspect that they're all witches in disguise. How can a woman acquired with angel's face and devil's body at the same time? It's impossible.... unless they're witches. They are completely capable to do this if they can turn man into frog.

Just imagine, if you happen to date one of the ladies above. You take her out for dinner at a perfect Saturday night, and you don't feel like letting her goes so after dinner you take her to your favorite bar and then you start flirting with her, then you hold her hand and the little pervert in you ask you to sniff her hair. Things are going so perfectly well and suddenly it's 12am already! Suddenly her magical effects are expired and the perfect date just *poooof*, gone! The hot girl turns out to be a witch with ultra-long hook nose and jaw with serious acne problem, not to mention the bad hair and ugly teeth.

And you remember you just kissed her...................... French style.

Malaysia is not going to ban Facebook

There is a rumor spreading on internet saying Malaysia's government is going to ban or block Malaysians from using faceboook after the incident of Alviss Kong's suicide. As the intensity of debate over the suicide accelerates, a several facebook users follow suit and claim they are going to kill themselves too (copycat's suicide). Of cos most of these people are pranksters.

Many concern that the suicide trend might be a good excuse for government to shut down Facebook. Do remember that Malaysia is not a socialist country. The government cannot just ban Malaysians from accessing Facebook and intervene our freedom of speech, and there is no such law that prohibit people from leaving suicide note (as long as they do not attempt suicide). Besides, just because a few people are leaving suicide notes on facebook it doesn't make it a valid reason to stop people from using it. Accident rate in Malaysia is high, is that implying a car-ban as well?

I realized many people are sharing false information on facebook without clarifying the validity. Please do not believe everything you read on internet, be a smart internet user. I came across a good-course website and read one particularly interesting comment left by a Chinese (China Chinese), :"... I discovered this after I came to America, and I can use facebook here too! I want to do more to help solving problems around the world....", and I realized facebook is not a right, but a privilege for many people, but many Malaysians choose to abuse such privilege instead of benefiting from it. How sad is that.

Singapore jealous of Malaysia?

Last couple of days, WikiLeaks released the cables between US and Singapore officials that say Malaysia's decline is due to incompetent politicians. Read this instead of Alviss Kong news, that's retarded. According to Ibrahim Ali, Singapore is jealous of Malaysia's achievement. Singapore said that because they have been holding grudge towards Malaysia for a long time.

What make Singapore jealous of Malaysia? We have Petronas Twin Tower and another 100-storey Warisan Merdeka is coming up but they don't have? We have leaking Parliament House and they don't have? Singapore's politicians jealous because UMNO's cronies' are all multimillionaires? Or jealous because our flag is more colorful than theirs?

The only valid reason why Singapore would jealous of Malaysia that I can think of is that we have Ibrahim Ali, and they don't have. But Singapore, you already have Puah Chu Kang and Liang Po Po (even though they're no match for Ibrahim Ali), be grateful ok? When people criticize us, we should implement introspection and improve ourselves, instead of acting like a bitch and denying the facts.

What I think about Alviss Kong and his fans

I guess a lot of Malaysian facebook users have already known about Alviss Kong, the guy who committed suicide and counted down to his own death on facebook. If you still haven't heard of his name, please refer to this article, or just google his name. After his death, people started to make video clips about him, write stories about him, blog about him, talk to friends about him, mount for him and of cos, some cry for him. Some even started to call him the Malaysian Romeo and made him wikipedia page and a lot of facebook pages to glorify him. From this we can see how teenagers spend their time unproductively.

I don't know him, but I certainly know he was a man of his word; he said he was going to kill himself and he did. Why would he want to kill himself? According to his suicide note, he believed that was a die-for-love, but was that really love? Did he kill himself for the girl? Or he just killed himself for himself?

Suddenly he is at the middle of spotlight now, thousands of teenagers 'LIKE' his fan page. But for what? To signify respect, worship, idolatry towards him? For his 'courage' and his 'romance'? Courage to commit suicide but too afraid to live a life? Romance about he killed himself and made the girl the person to blame? Calling this act of stupidity as love would be pettifogging.

The whole incident shows us a very important message; there are a lot of immatures out there in Malaysia. Their values and way of thinking have been twisted by too much of cults and distorted ideologies. The fact is committing suicide this way, like Alviss Kong's way is just unworthy and stupid. It doesn't even worth the slightest admiration.

Life is full of chances and tomorrow will always be a better day. Millions and billions of people are struggling to survive. I don't want to talk much, so just watch the video. Non-Bumi lack patriotism?

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the Defence Minister said he did not mean to hurt our feeling (non-bumiputra) when he mentioned the low participation of non-bumi in army is due to lack of patriotism. However he did not apologize for what he had said, but that's ok because all Malaysians have the freedom of speech. If he thinks lack of patriotism is one of the factors why non-Malays don't want to join army, so be it. Want to know about the details click here.

But dear Defence Minister, is there only one way to show patriotism? Some sing Negaraku (national anthem of Malaysia), some fly Jalur Gemilang (flag of Malaysia), some develop the country's economy, some win squash games and some urge non-Malays to join the army; are these not expression of love towards the country?

Earlier this year in May, when Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) held a recruitment drive for 40 vacancies for investigating officers and assistants, more than 400 Chinese turned up. Did that not show how non-Malays love the country? These people know what this country really needs; less corruptions and more transparencies. Is that patriotism?

Remember the jet-fighter engine worth RM50million stolen from airbase end of last year? Tell me it wasn't an inside job? So patriotism is the only reason to join army? Apparently not.

Malaysia Bans Facebook?

Someone finally came up with a brilliant idea to solve the ongoing argument between pro-government and opposition supporters on Facebook. He thought :"Why not just ban Facebook?"

I must admit, this is the most brilliant idea I have ever heard. Why no one has ever thought of it before? No facebook, means no more 1M Malaysians Reject 100-storey Mega Tower page, no more Lim Kit Siang, no more Hishamuddin Rais, so on and so forth thus threats to national securities will be gone.

Besides, ban facebook can indirectly increase the nation's productivity as people will focus more on working rather than farming on Farmville, hence improve the economic performance and we'll be high income individuals in no time! If that's not wisdom what is that?

To start charging us for using the sun, first she needs to startup a company and to do that she needs a company name. I think the best name for the company would be simply S.U.N. (Spanish Ultimate Nonsense).

Then she needs a catchy company line that when people see it they will think of the S.U.N, I guess "There ain't no such thing as free sun." will do.

10 Movies You Must Watch (Part 3/3)

Check out the 1st part and and 2nd part. I don't really have a certain type or genre of favorite movie but I'm rather picky when it comes to the quality of the story and actors' acting skills. I don't memorize actor name on purpose, but I do have a few name that I really enjoy their works; Al Pacino, Russell Crowe, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks and so forth.

No.7 Pursuit of Happyness. Yes, I know I spelled happyness wrongly, but that's the title. Want to know why? Watch the movie yourself. The movie is based on a true story, talking about a mid-aged man who screwed up his business and faced serious financial problem. Eventually his wife left him and he insisted to take care of his son by himself and they stepped on to journey of pursuing happiness.

No.8 Gladiator. The story based on ancient Rome, a general got framed by Roman prince out of jealousy. Later, the general returned to Rome as gladiator to regain his honors and everything he has lost, and of cos to have his long-waited vengeance.

No. 9 Forrest Gump. Forrest Gump was a dumb but lucky and kind-hearted guy. He was persistent, innocent, obedient and loyal. His characteristics had led him to a exciting and great life. This is one of the most touching show I ever watched.

Last but not least, The Bucket List. What if there is only 3 months left in your life? What are you going to do with it? These 2 dying old men probably lived more lives than ever before, after they found out that they have not much time left.

No.4 movie you have to see before you die - The Lord of The Rings. I guess even if you have not seen the movie, you must have heard of it also. It's a story about destroying an evil ring to prevent return of evil, but ironically to destroy it the fellowship has to travel into the lair of the evils. The ring had the power to breed dark side of the carrier of ring, therefore the carrier must fight the evil side.

No. 5 The Pianist is one of the most touching war movie I ever have seen. The story is about a famous Jewish pianist surviving the World War I and Nazi's genocide of Jews. He did not fight like what other Jews did, he hid from the Nazi army but ironically the one who saved his life was a Nazi's officer. No one listen to music during the war, but the pianist had nothing left but his music in his heart and the music accompanied him during his toughest time.

No.6 Watchmen, this is not a typical superheroes movie. If you're looking for superhero-saves-the-day then this is not the film you would like to see. I have friends who claimed that this is the suckiest film she has ever seen, but I totally disagree with her. The ideologies behind the movie are deep, not everyone can understand what the movie is selling; one of the heroes tried to save the world by destroying it, deep?

I love movies and I have watched quite a number of movies to come up with this list of 10 movies that you must watch. I know this is quite random because I have never done any movie review but this is something really worth sharing, and you might like them if you love movies too.

Number 1 the best of all time goes to The Godfather. Godfather is talking about Italian young man who went to America to earn a living and eventually grew big and become a mafia family leader. Al Pacino later stepped in as his father successor to protect the family. He thought by growing bigger he could protect his family but the bigger he grows the weaker he becomes. The mafia's power eventually penetrated Vatican, the holy city. The movie has totally 3 parts so make sure you watch it all.

No.2 goes to Rocky by Sylvester Stallone. The movie uses a underdog boxer's life as background and shows audience the up-and-down and the meanings of life. Rocky Balboa got his once-in-life-time opportunity to fight with champion and he gave his best shot and became famous but this is not all, Rocky got totally 6 parts talking about the different stages of life. If you think Rocky is about fighting you probably right, but not in boxing ring and not about violence, but about fighting against all odds in life.

No.3, The Shawshank Redemption. It's the old fashion prison break, not the high-tech Michael Scofield prison break but I would say I prefer the old school. Breaking out is easy part, surviving the outside world after 18-years of prison is the headache part.

In this video, the retarded driver was speeding through LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong) with at least 180km/h where the speed limit along the highway is only 60 to 80km/h. The retard basically overspeed by 100km/h on average. The retard also cannot stand with the idea of there is a car in front of her, so she overtook every car got into her way.

An act of idiocy cannot be done alone, there must be a bunch of idiots and retards provoking each other. There are 4 voices in this video, 2 guys and 2 girls. TM uses Facebook to Boost Productivity

I saw this photo on facebook just now and I thought it would be interesting to share with people.

At first glance, you might not find this photo interesting. So lets enlarge it and take a closer look.

It must be TM is starting to utilize facebook as a medium to connect all its employees. She was probably communicating the customer's complaint to her superior. The idea is simply brilliant! Facebook instead of its own intranet, it would probably save up millions of ringgit per year and yet enjoy the same or even more features. They can have a group, and with new group chat feature management doesn't even need to have face-to-face meeting anymore!

The money saved can be used to upgrade its internet service too. Even though it's already excellent now, but excellent will never be good enough for ambitious and visionary company like TM. It will not stop until all Malaysians can enjoy free high speed internet access! Bravo!

Last week I got an email from Maybank, with email address of (m2u@maybank.com.my). The email asks me to reactive my Maybank online banking account because it has been temporarily disabled for security purpose. I recognized it as a fraud email immediately, because I don't even have an account with Maybank. However, the email address was convincing because of the @maybank.com.my.

There hyperlink navigates me to a website with a layout almost identical to maybank2u.com. However, you can identify by the addresses; the fake website and the real Maybank2u online banking website.

Take a closer look and you will notice there is a green color lock beside the address of the genuine site and there isn't at the fake one. Do not login to the fake website with your genuine Maybank2u username and password because the fraudsters will gain access to your banking information and details if you do. I already reported this to Maybank customer service and hopefully they will close down the phishing site as soon as possible.

1. Make money, also improve blogging skills
Blog without quality contents won't go far. As some bloggers say: Content is king. However it's arguable, I have seen some famous bloggers with not really good contents. Maybe people aren't looking for content but some other things.

2. Make money, also make friends
When you decide to go pro, you need supports and learn from other bloggers. Along the way you pick up some friends. One of the advantage of making money from blog is you don't really have intense competition - people can read your blog and at the same time read your friends' blogs, so there is not conflict of interest.

3. Make money, also get the sense of accomplishment
Seeing people come in to your blog is an indescribable feeling. The feeling of being recognized is good and you get the sense of accomplishment.

Cons

1. Make money, but lose credibility
People have little trust in advertorial, it might seems like you promote the particular product or service for the sake of money.

2. Make money, but lose liberty
You might need to please you readers by writing something they like and want to read instead of something you really want to write (because it might be boring).

3. Make money, but lose pleasure
You need to increase you traffic, it's a headache. When you lose you traffic, it's pressure.

I discovered some very effective ways to gain blog traffic. I personally use it and my traffic increases about 1000%. There are a several very useful functions on Facebook, for example the Share button, Like button, and Fan page. The best of all, they're free of charge. For small-fry blogger like me, cost is most important factor I care in choosing the methods of promoting my page. So FOC is good.

Convenience is playing a very important role here. Readers might be reluctant to share if they have to copy the page link and share it manually, it's too troublesome.

Second thing is the Like button. It serves more than just a tool for people to "like" your post, it's rating. When people see a high number of "like" for a particular post. They might stop to read your contents, to find out why so many people like it. Herd mentality is the key.

The third thing is Fan page. Create a fan page for your page. When people become fans, they indirectly follow you. To certain extents, fan page has the functionality of Twitter, RSS and bookmark. When you update your fan page, they will see it. It's better than Twitter because your fans can have a platform of discussion on Facebook. The downside is that people might not login to Facebook everyday or they might miss your update on. So, the best thing is to get your readers bookmark your page. That's it, my 2 cents of opinion.

Bus Driver was Innocent! (10.10.10 Accident Update)

Bus driver did not cause the horrific accident because of speeding. He was trying to avoid an overtaking car! He was innocent.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus did not speed but moving steadily with approximately 90km/h at middle lane. The Chinese couple, Ms. Lu (makeup artist) and Mr. Xu (businessman) was driving about 100 meters behind the bus before the horrific accident happened. Both of them claimed that the bus steered a bit to left before it lost control and crashed to the opposite expressway. Note: I translated the couple's names from Chinese.

They suspect a car moved from fast lane to middle lane out of sudden and the bus was trying to avoid the car but failed and eventually lost control.

Green car was the eyewitnesses' car,

while X was the car suspected to be the cause of accident.

The bus driver's wife said her late husband was a careful driver, it's very unlikely that he over-speed and put others' life on risk. According to a reliable source, the deceased's daughter gets a lot of calls and messages accusing her father as murderer.

People, if you read this I beg you to spread this because he was innocent. He should not be called a murderer and his family should not be disturbed this way.

How should we feel about accident and its victims?

A question popped out in my mind: How should we feel about accident and people affected by it.

I guess most people would say they feel sympathetic for these victims and condoled with families in their losses. But is this concern of empathy applicable to all cases? What if someone dies because of his or her own mistake and worse, the mistake costs innocent people's life? In such situation, should we feel pity for him or her too?

Do people really feel sympathetic for deceased and injured? Or some show empathy out of social pressure, so they wouldn't look cold-blooded? Why people stop to look at accident scene even if they know they couldn't help? Are they really concerned or they just want to fulfill their curiosities?

People point fingers to government for not doing anything to reduce accident rate in this country. Is the government not doing enough? It's completely up to the traffic users to comply and obey.

Most of the people feel lucky, they would never think accident could happen to them and take their lives away. Otherwise, people would start to show consideration on road and compliance to traffic rules. What's the use of showing empathy and not learning from the misfortunes? The greatest stupidity is repeating the same mistake.

2 days after the horrific collision at North South Expressway, another fatal accident happened in Kampar district, Kuala Lumpur - Ipoh truck road at Jeram. This one took away 6 lives.

According to witnesses, the victims were shouting for help: Tolong!! before they were burnt to death.

Initial investigation suggests the car was moving with high speed before it lost control and crashed to trees. When are people going to realize that safety is the only way home?

10.10.10 North-South Expressway Accident - Who to be blamed?

October 10, 2010 or 10.10.10. A special day for many people but also a heartbreaking day for many families. A massive fatal collision happened at North-South Expressway, has taken away 12 lives and injured more than 40 people inclusive of 10 in critical condition. I express my deepest condolence to these innocent victims.

News can be found on The Star, NST, The Sun and all over internet. Video can be found on 8TV facebook page. Some eyewitnesses also took photographs of the scene and shared it on facebook.

Do not confused between accident and collision, these terms are not interchangeable because accident means there is no one to blame because everything happened by nature. Collision has someone to blame.

Who to be blamed for this massive collision? Whose fault is it the constant high traffic collision rate in Malaysia?

Blame the bus driver for not following the traffic rules?
Passengers for not asking drivers to comply with traffic rules?
The bus companies for not educating their drivers to drive safely?
The law maker for not making tighter traffic rules and regulations?
Traffic police for not enforcing the traffic rules stricter?
PLUS for not building better road?
Proton for not making safer car?
Dunlop for not making tyre with more grips?
Media for not spreading enough road safety messages?
Teachers for not teaching how to drive safe?
Parents for not nagging their children to follow traffic rules?
Time for passing too quickly?

Blame ourselves for being inconsiderate, impatient, and ignorant on road.

You are no Michael Schumacher, nor you are on race track. If you are attempting to commit suicide, there must be a better way to die than reckless driving. You have no right to drag someone else to die together with you. Stop being selfish.

Man Died of SM Sex. Really?

7 years ago, a 41-year-old man Thng Boon Siang (汤文祥) was said dies while having SM (sadism and masochism) sex. When he was found tied up and half naked by his wife, his valuables and RM5000 cash were gone. Pathologist in charge said injuries were result of his self-strangulation or in other words, he killed himself.

Thng's family believes he was murdered and his wife testified that she had never had SM sex during their marriage.

Does lower Crime Index make you feel safer?

Crime Index of Malaysia has been reported low recently. Apparently Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) has been working hard to decrease crimes in Malaysia. However, low crime doesn't mean no crime, police force could further reduce crime in Malaysia by:

1. Ignoring reporting of crimes
2. Persuading victims not to lodge police report.
3. Encouraging hiring of private security personnel
4. Urging women to dress more
5. Buying more expensive police cars and weapons
6. Educating men not to wear Rolex
7. Forbidding civilians to use expensive phones like iPhone
8. Locking up all the illegal foreign workers
9. Placing gun vending machines at all shopping malls
10. Making illegal to legal

The Lesson of Lions, Wolf, and Sheep

I heard a story on radio today and I thought it worth sharing.

Once upon a time, God demanded two flocks of sheep to stay with their enemy, whether a wolf or two lions. Whichever chooses the two lions have the right to swap between the lions as only one will stay with the flock at a time.

The leader of the first flock of sheep decided to choose the wolf because they thought the wolf was less threatening as it only ate one sheep in a week, but lion could eat one sheep a day. The other flock chose to stay with the lions.

At the beginning, things went like what had been expected, but soon the wolf realized that it had the power to decide the sheep's life and death. Eventually it became proud and rampant, it attacked the sheep even if it did not want to eat them. The sheep were powerless.

On the other hand, the flock that had chosen lions knew that the right to choose between two lions was their power to control the lions. They let one lion to stay with them and let the other starved, and the swapping process went on. Lions finally realized that if they did not behave well, the flock had the power to swap them away and make them starve. Later, the lions only ate dead sheep and stopped attacking the flock. While the flock kept both lions alive because they knew if one of the lions dies, the survived will have the upper hand over them.

I recommend a condom subsidy to be approved for teenagers under 18 years old. One reason they fail to take up safe sex is that they are too poor to buy condom. I also recommend a law to regulate teenagers' average pocket money. Parents are to be legally bound to allocate a provision for pregnancy prevention for their teenage children. To make sure the provision is used for the purpose meant, a safe sex credit card could be introduced. It works like a prepaid phone card, the only difference is that it allows teenagers to get condom at any affiliated stores and retail outlets, only for condom not other merchandises.

I also suggest condom vending machines to be placed at schools, universities and colleges. So that condom can be easily acquired, thus reduces the possibility of unprotected sex on impulse. Robbery at The Curve 27/09/2010 (Updated)

This video started to circulate on Facebook since yesterday (27/09/2010). It shows a man with a parang (long blade) walked into a skincare product store (The Face Shop) and put the sharp blade to the storekeeper's throat. He then ordered the hot young lady to go into another room (staff room or storeroom I guess). Two other men walked into the store shortly after that and one of them started to search for cash and other valuables. Within 10 minutes, these men have got what they wanted and left.

Some say the storekeeper was sexually abused by the robber, but I would remain skeptical. Why? Apparently the video is playing in slow motion and if you use some common senses you can convert it back to normal pace and that's about 5 to 6 minutes. Not enough to rob and rape I guess. Some say this is not real as the original video was removed from Facebook by the person who first uploaded it. But why would someone fake this kind of video? If this is real, it would serve as a warning to public that we are no longer safe, even at crowed public space.

Criminals nowadays are bold and they understand human's psychology. They are lurking in dark and will strike when you are defenseless, mentally and physically.

I saw some discussions at forum and many said the robbers are stupid because they didn't realize there was CCTV recording their action. I personally think that these robbers are not stupid, they are experienced, calm and cocky. Of cos they knew the security camera was there but they didn't give a fuck because the storekeeper recognizes them already and they knew the quality of the video will not be clear. Fingerprints all over the counter? Do you really that naive to think police is going to investigate further if not one (rich and power) get hurt? Nevertheless, these men must have been doing this for quite some times.

According to a reliable source, the robbery is real. However, the girl was not raped. She was tied up when she was discovered. The company (The Face Shop) ordered the staff who first uploaded the video to remove it, to stop the news from spreading. I personally think that the company should clarify the public's doubt rather than just trying to cover it up.

Safety and security are our concern, could we still have safe shopping experiences? Could we still live without fear? If these criminal can rob in a shopping complex at 1.30pm, they can break into your house at 1.30am as well.

Lee Chong Wei Didn't Show Off After Beating Lin Dan?

I'm not a big fan of badminton sport, but who in Malaysia doesn't know Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan? Lee has been living under Lin Dan's shadow after defeated by the latter in Olympic 2008, Thomas Cup 2010, and many other matches that I'm not familiar with. People would not recognize him as the best even with his ranking as world number one, unless he proves himself worthwhile by beating Lin Dan.

Yesterday (26/09/2010), Lee finally proved himself genuine, outplayed Lin Dan in Japan Open 2010 and beat him for the first time as world number one. For details, read this and this.

This is most probably the most organized shoplifting I have ever seen. This is not just some steal-and-run, this is serious shit, they almost took away everything!

Great planning is crucial to success, and great organization and coordination of individual roles and responsibility have brought them lucrative loots.

Big size women handled the "logistic", by hiding all the loots under their's baju kurung (Malay traditional dress), avoiding all securities and transporting it out of the store safely.

Other members played the role of "spotter" and "whistle-blower", spotting the shop keepers and giving signal via gestures and eye contact to other members to whether continue operation or pause, or even abolish mission when necessary. Effective communication must take place in order to deliver messages and interpret messages received precisely. You can see mutual trust demonstrated by the family.

Everyone knows what to do and how to do, and gives full support and corporation to succeed. They have congruency in purposes and goals which in turn lead to consensus and team cohesiveness. What a united family I shall say!

Now Every Teen can Pregnant

Malacca took the initiative to set up school for pregnant teens. Pregnant teen is defined as female teenagers aged 12 to 19 year old whom had premarital sex with boyfriend and got pregnant incidentally.

Traditionally, these poor girls who got pregnant were not allowed to go school anymore (I'm not sure why but I've never seen any pregnant schoolmates during my secondary school years) because they were viewed as disgrace to their family, and must get married with the "person in charge" whom responsible for the pregnancy immediately. However, with the new School of Hope (School for pregnant teens only with better name) now every teen can get pregnant and still go to school.

I wonder, what would be taught in the school for pregnant girls? Will there be any sex education? So they wouldn't make the same mistake twice. Will parenting knowledge and skills included too? Apparently many young people nowadays can't even make their own bed, moreover a baby.

Would there be any uniform? Apparently, their old uniforms will no longer fit.

Lecturer Hit Student and Ran

Hit-and-run is no news? How about lecturer hits student and runs?

A UTAR student was pissed when she was updating her blog (update: post has been removed), not because her friend was injured in a traffic collision but her anger was triggered by stupidity demonstrated by irresponsible driver who hit her friend and ran away from scene. Guess what, the idiot is having a job to give lecture in UTAR.

A few passer-by saw the incident and eventually tailed the driver and brought her back to the victim. The lecturer responded : "I go home to have my lunch!" "I totally lost my appetite and I was planning to go back to see her (the poor student who was being hit)." Victim and friends were speechless.

The victim's parents have been contacted and immediately came to Kampar, worrying the daughter's condition. The lecturer refused to see the victim's parents, insisted they (the victim's parents) were intended to hurt her. For more information, click here.

Well, I'm sure the safety of a student is no match to a lecturer's stomach. Of cos she has to eat, if she doesn't fueled up she will suffer gastric. Is gastric not more suffering and more painful than being crashed by a car? Is starving not more torturing than bleeding and having bone fractures?

Lecturer is always more valuable than a student, because she is highly educated and she is more productive and she is knowledgeable. Losing her would be a great loss of talent for Malaysia. On the other hand, losing a student will not do any harm to the society.

Anyway, so many people die everyday, why care? The lecturer was correct, her stomach is definitely more important than an injured girl.

For her own safety, she of cos had to refuse to see the victim's parents. You know those Chinese parents are normally not educated mah, what if they really grab a shovel and hit her right at her face? It would definitely leave scar and she would loss her pretty and attractive face.

15 minutes before Malaysia' 53th Independence Day, controversial Chinese musician Namewee (黄明志) was arrested for his newest song Nah! Suck Banana!!. He was managed to update his status in Facebook about the arrest. In his statement, he also mentioned he was treated unfairly as he was only trying to "anti-racism", actions should be taken towards those headmistresses .

Namewee was expressing his anger over the recent "Cina balik China" statement made by headmistresses in his music video and the video was viewed by approximately half a millions of Malaysians. Apparently, many politicians also watched the video and decided it's a good opportunity to put themselves in the newspapers' headline. These politicians and political parties condemned Namewee for promoting racism and creating racial tention among Malaysians, and such action should not be tolerated. Government was urged to take legal action towards Namewee.

"Cina balik China" statement has obviously put the racial harmony in danger. However, conspiracy theorists claimed it was a dirty political trick played by oppositions to create chaos. There is no doubt that exploitation of such racial chaos would result in political advantages, but who is the winner in the end of the day?

If one argues that oppositions framed Puan Hajah Siti Insyak BTE Mansor to breed racism, as a conspiracy theorist myself can argue that oppositions have been framed for framing her, to create a villain impression of the oppositions. Conspiracy theory will never end.

The questions are:
1. Is Puan Hajah Siti Insyak BTE Mansor a political victim?
2. Did she make those moronic and racist statement?
3. Is she being setup?
4. Why would students lodge such fake police report?
5. Is this a political trick?
6. Who is the big winner in this chaos?

Media Control In Malaysia

Mainstream media in Malaysia is mainly owned by political parties and heavily regulated by government. Censorship is applied to control media content to avoid unnecessary disturbance to the “national” security.

Privatization of the media is the very 1st step of the conspiracy to control media in Malaysia. One of the initial effort to transfer ownership of the media from government to the private sector involved privatization of TV3. TV3 was licensed in 1983 to Sistem Televisyen (M) Berhad (STMB). Forty-percent of the STMB stock was held by the Fleet Group, which is UMNO’s holding company, and thus the Fleet Group, with more stock ownership than any other single entity, had the right to select the remaining ownership partners. TV3 in turn owns MEGA-TV, a MMDS “cable” provider.

In 1994 a television broadcast license was issued to Melewar Corporation and Utusan Malayu (M) Berhad to operate Metrovision. Tunku Abdullah, who is widely known to be a close associate of former Prime Minister Mahathir, controls Melewar. By 1999 Metrovision was struggling and was “temporarily” off-air by later that year and during early 2000. Metrovision has now ceased broadcasting.

Another reputed close associate of former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir, Ananda Krishnan, was issued a license in 1995 to operate MEASAT. MEASAT in turn launched ASTRO, Malaysia’s digital direct broadcast satellite service. Krishnan is evidently the beneficiary of other “favors” resulting from his ties to Mahathir. With an estimated net worth of over $250-million (U.S.), Krishnan is a long-time member of the board of the Bank Negara and operates Malaysia’s “Sports Toto” (owned by Berjaya Group currently).

Natseven TV Sdn Bhd (NTV7), Malaysia’s most recent entry into the privately owned free-to-air television market, was licensed in 1998. Datuk (Dr.) Effendi Norwawi the Chairman of ENCORP group, which owns NTV7, serves as the Chairman of NTV7. Norwawi was also serving as the Minister of Agriculture (Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture, 2002).

Malaysia’s privately owned FM stations exhibit similar ownership patterns as television, and are largely controlled by Ananda Krishnan. Five of the seven stations are owned by Airtime Management and Programming Sdn. Bhd. (AMP). AMP additionally operates four “FM” services that are available only via digital direct broadcast satellite (ASTRO). AMP is also a division of Krishnan’s ASTRO. No to forget, Ananda Krishnan also owns Maxis Communications Berhad now.

The political parties and their investment companies control the major newspapers in Malaysia. The Utusan Melayu Group publishes 3 Malay language dailies and has strong ties to UMNO (United Malays National Organisation). It also owns New Straits Times with the Fleet Investment Group. In addition, The Star is owned by Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) under the name of Star Publication (M) Berhad. Star Publication also own several radio stations, Red FM, 988, and SuriaFM. MCA also owns Chinese newspapers like Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press.

According to Aliran , the journal of social reform, these connections reveal the biases of the Malaysian media. During the 1995 general elections, the daily newspapers carried government advertisements in full but accepted only partial advertisements from oppositional parties. Some believe that newspaper owners do not allow new entrants into industry despite the fact that they may add to the public good. What the imprisoned former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar called an "informed citizenry through a contest of ideas," is as of 2002 as elusive as ever in Malaysia.

This article has not revealed all the media controlled by political parties, there are more. They are not the country, they are not the government, they are merely politicians.

Is UTAR Racist?

Is UTAR racist? This question popped when I discovered this comment in Tun Mahathir's weblog.

In his comment, Shakeel mentioned that felt he has been discriminated. As a Muslim, he has to fast for all day long during Bulan Ramadan and only allowed to Buka Puasa after day. However, he has lecture until 8pm every Wednesday thus he has to starve if he were to attend the lecture. Lecturer did not have plan to end class earlier nor give response when this issue was brought up by him.

He felt disrespected as a Muslim and thought there is strong racism in UTAR as other higher learning institutions either private or public are able to provide Muslims with time to buka puasa, UTAR doesn't care about he because he is a minority in UTAR.

If he were to read this, I will say UTAR is not a racist university but merely a careless university. If UTAR is racist, it wouldn't accept Indian and Malay students or any other races in the first place. We just need to bring up the issue to the correct person, I have sent an email to our president and written a feedback to management regarding the problem and I hope they will take proper actions to solve it. Since the university is opened to all, there is a strong need to understand all the cultures and do adjustment according to the status quo. It's not fair to sacrifice someone just because someone is minority.

p.s.
Anyway, I suggest Shakeel to negotiate with his lecturer so he can attend the lecture at some other time, as not only one class will be conducted in most of the papers.

Beliau memberi contoh yang beliau memiliki satu kereta Proton Saga dan menumpangkan 2 orang individu iaitu Munusamy dan Chong. Munusamy dan Chong merupakan penumpang sahaja. Mereka tidak boleh menuntut hak ke atas kereta tersebut. Ini sama seperti Malaysia di mana pelajar-pelajar bukan Melayu adalah penumpang.

Dalam konsep 1 Malaysia, 70% hak diberikan kepada warga bukan Melayu, 30% kepada warga Melayu. Jika ia merupakan beliau, beliau hanya berikan 30% kepada warga bukan Melayu dan 70% kepada warga Melayu. Beliau juga menekankan Artikal 15 di mana hak-hak orang Melayu merupakan istimewa dan perlu dipertahankan. Di sekolah lama beliau iaitu SMK Kelapa Sawait, beliau telah memanggil pelajar-pelajar dan guru-guru India yang gelap Nigerians.

Juga ada dua lagi kejadian di mana beliau telah menyuruh pelajar-pelajar India yang mengikat tali sembahyang memotong tali tersebut. Satu lagi beliau juga telah membuang buku-buku rujukan pelajar bukan Melayu ke atas bumbung sekolah. Selepas selesai perhimpunan, beberapa pelajar Melayu telah memanggil pelajar bukan Melayu sebagai penupang.

Apparently the incident where Steven's Corner Big Boss beat his old neighbour without mercy and reason has affected its business badly.

Big Boss decided that he must do something to fix things up, so he called up all his mafiosi for a meeting. After consulted his consigliere, they have decided to use the most sophisticated Public Relations techniques and advanced information technology (Facebook) to prove their innocence!

Eventually, Steven's Corner found a witness who can prove its innocence. Big Boss is totally not a violent hooligan, he was provoked by the disrespectful old man, Lim!

67 year-old Man Beat the Shit Out of Nigga

Steven's Corner owner would probably got beaten up, only if Lim (old man who was beaten up by Steven's Corner hooligan or gangster) was as good as the 67 year-old white man who beat the shit out of the young nigga who provoked him in the first place by punching the old man. Eventually, old man got mad and threw several powerful and fast punches back to the nigga, and did some damages to him.

Old man is now known as The Vietnam Tom, apparently served some of his old times in Vietnam War and got his killing skills sharpen.

My Traffic Increased From 30 to 3000

My traffic has shot up by 9,900% this week, from 30 to approximately 3000 unique visitors per day at peak.

Frankly speaking, I have no idea how it happened, but it just did. Hopefully traffic could be maintained because there are too much things I would like to share.
